What drew you to coaching specifically breathwork?
I have been coaching as a personal trainer since 2020 and was interested in learning to coach breathwork very soon after joining Tevah as a guest, I couldn’t get enough of it!
One misconception about sauna and cold plunge?
that you need to hit and keep improving on certain time targets in the sauna and plunge. What an influencer says is “best practice” may not apply to your body, so your best practice is to spend time practicing contrast therapy and get to know your body
Moment with client that stuck with me?
I’m early in my contrast therapy guiding practice but it’s always rewarding when aGuest thanks me for cold plunge guidance saying they’ve never been able to stay in as long or as focused on their own
Curious but intimidated to try?
One incredible fact I learned about our brain is there is a specific area that influences and is influenced by “will power” (anterior medial cingulate cortex) and when we practice things that challenge us, it grows and the connections are strengthened. So let’s do more things that intimidate us!Tevah community different than others?I deeply connect to the Tevah community’s embodiment of the concept “Generational Wholeness”, which promotes a coming together of families, communities for healing that goes far beyond the physical self, into the holistic realm.
Favourite part of coaching day?
I love seeing everyone’s faces coming out of the plunge, feeling that noradrenaline and dopamine and seeing an instantaneous shift in their behaviour, with an increased connection to others and more present with themselves.
You’ll know Tevah is working for you when…
You take a moment to notice the shifts in your body, mind and spirit from the beginning of your session VS the end, the effects are immediate and lasting!
